| 2) Evergreen Foundation is a 501(c)(3) entity. However, we do not solicit nor do we accept contributions. |
| 3) Evergreen Foundation grants are generally made to individuals who have exhibited “passion” in their chosen field of research. |
| 4) Our grants are made based on nominations or referrals. There is no formal application system. |
| 5) A Grantee must explicitly affirm their intention to “inspire others by example”. |
| 6) The Evergreen Foundation fully understands the concept of accountability; however, we prefer the perspective of trust. Accordingly, obligations for ongoing reports are minimal. |
| 7) Special consideration is given to candidates who have overcome some personal challenge (e.g. learning disability, financial stress, etc.) |
